The new, fully shielded AMJ modules K Cat.6+ and AMJ coupler K Cat.6 stand out through best transmission properties and an outstanding price / performance ratio. Manufacturing the Cat.6 core and the IDC termination on a fully-automated production line sets new standards, together with the in-process quality inspection. With its 19.3 x 14.7 mm dimensions, the module/coupler fits numerous applications and installation cutouts in central panels used throughout the world, as well as 19" patch panel solutions. The IDC termination from Telegärtner reliably contacts solid conductors from AWG24/1 to AWG22/1 and stranded cables from AWG26/7 to AWG24/7. The AMJ module K Cat.6+ thus also recommends itself for connecting AWG24/7, AWG26/7 and AWG27/7 patch cables to the IDC termination to create a consolidation point. Its transmission performance further has been certified (for transmission) with de-embedded reference connector on both sides (RJ45 and IDC sides). Aside from a variety of RJ45 IP67 connectors, Telegärtner therefore also offers designs for connecting glass and polymer fibres in order to meet this challenge. Ethernet connectors from Telegärtner give you a decisive advantage since these products are not only gigabit-capable, but their housings are also in compliance with the IEC 61076-3-106 standard. The connectors of variant 6 are standardized in the IEC 61076-3-106, designed to meet the demands of rugged, industrial environments, guaranteeing IP67 protection when mated. The TO features a non-detachable cover ensuring protection class IP67. The locking clasps allow easy, tool-less opening as well as a secure locking with IP67. The locking clasps are available in different colours and offer protection against unintended loosening. The RJ45 Connector meets the specifications for Category 6 acc. to ISO/IEC 60603-7-5. The metal, fully-shielded RJ45 modules in the TO and the also available bulkhead provide a firm data transmission. The AMJ modules and couplers as well the T-SC-Duplex adaptors which are both commonly used in the office world are effectively protected against ingress of solid impurities measuring more than 1mm in diameter, as well as against water jets from all directions, by a housing with protection class IP44. With its compact size of 75x86x58mm, the housing not only accomodates up to two data outltes, but is also unbreakble. The grey housing is available with one or two cable entries. A splash-proof transparent label (21x59mm) permits identification of the ports. The Terminal Outlet (TO) is completed tool-less by snapping in the corresponding modules, couplers and adaptors into the single or double gang inserts. The T-SC-Duplex adaptor can also additionally be mounted with screws.
