Plantronics has announced that it will now operate under the Poly brand. The new name reflects the variety of A / V communications and collaboration devices that Plantronics began offering with the acquisition of Polycom (poly means many). Simultaneously, Poly introduced a new logo. Shaped like a propeller, the symbol is a tribute to Plantronics' history of starting out as a manufacturer of headsets for pilots and air traffic controllers, the company said.
